Skyworks Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated student to join their AI group for a 3-month Summer internship to engage in cutting-edge research and development of speech and signal processing algorithms for edge devices.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one deep learning framework (preferably TensorFlow).
- Understanding of common neural network layer types and their mathematical operations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++ (experience with embedded programming is a plus).
- Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu).
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code using version control (Git).
Responsibilities
- Development of deep neural networks.
- Analyzing the efficiency and performance of models.
- Porting and testing neural networks on microprocessors and other constrained devices.
- Developing memory and computationally efficient real-time audio algorithms based on neural networks.
- Researching state-of-the-art neural networks in the audio domain.
Other
- Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student.
- Preferably enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in a STEM related field involving programing, i.e. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics.
- Bachelor's students with relevant professional experience or experience in projects applying neural networks to solve complex problems, and/or advance embedded programing skills.
- Familiarity with multi-channel speech enhancement and beamforming techniques.
- Familiarity with audio, speech, and music signals.
