Fresco is looking to solve the problem of streamlining communication workflows and eliminating information bottlenecks in the $12T construction industry by building an AI copilot
Requirements
- React + TypeScript
- Next.js + TypeScript
- Some Python for deep computation
- Expo (React Native)
- Postgres + pgvector (Neon), Prisma, Vercel, S3, AWS Textract
- OpenAI (GPT-4.x/vision/embeddings), RAG over docs/drawings
- PRs for visibility, lightweight review, high ownership
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end features across web and mobile (Next.js/React/TypeScript + Expo)
- Improve retrieval quality in our AI stack (embeddings, pgvector, hybrid semantic + lexical search, OCR/vision on plans)
- Talk to users (supers, PMs) and close the loop the same day—measure, fix, ship
- Help shape data models and APIs that keep everything fast and reliable
- Pair with the CTO on product bets and longer-term technical direction
- Build and ship something meaningful (apps, tools, research—show us)
- Work with React/TypeScript, Node, SQL—or eager to ramp fast
