PlayStation is looking to design, implement, and maintain autonomous AI agents and workflows that drive productivity helpers, self-service tools, and intelligent orchestration across game-development, operations, and end-user platforms.
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise with agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, Autogen, AG2, or other major frameworks) and building custom implementations
- Strong in Python skills and familiarity with web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) for building service APIs.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, task queues, and message brokers (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Prior work with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Claude) and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
- Experience with orchestration platforms (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Responsibilities
- Agent Architecture & Design: Define and prototype multi-step agent workflows (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, tool chaining, decision logic).
- Integration & Orchestration: Build connectors and adapters for internal services (APIs, data stores, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems).
- Performance & Reliability: Optimize agent throughput and latency, including caching strategies, parallelism, and load balancing.
- Collaboration & Enablement: Co-author reference implementations, code samples, and 'agent playbooks' for internal developer consumption.
- Security & Guardrails: Develop safety filters, rate-limits, and policy enforcement layers to prevent misuse or unsafe behaviors.
- Instrument agents for observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and set up alerting for failure modes.
- Implement workflow orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
Other
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ year specifically building AI-driven or workflow-orchestration systems.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of creating technical documentation or developer tutorials.
- We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
