Novanta is looking to integrate an AI mindset and tooling into the company's traditional workflows to drive the growth of AI utilization and spearhead evolutionary growth and lead the integration of AI-driven functions into existing product lines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment, with a strong understanding of both technical and business applications
- Extensive experience in AI ecosystems, with a requirement for Microsoft ecosystem & technologies
- Hands-on experience building dedicated agents/LLMs
- Ability to think critically and creatively to develop AI solutions that provide business value.
Responsibilities
- Identify new AI tools that would benefit the organization; Work with the team to implement these new AI tools
- Drive the augmentation of AI into business processes.
- Contribute to the implementation of AI best practices in various functional teams.
- Mentor and guide BU leadership in AI technologies and methods.
- Ensure data privacy and cyber security and implement measures to secure sensitive information.
- Support developing KPIs to track & monitor AI technology adoption
- Drive improved product vitality through new AI capabilities in our products

- Lead the dissemination of AI knowledge through training, workshops, and hackathons.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging AI solutions.
- Champion the growth of AI knowledge within teams and business units.
- Foster culture shifts towards AI adoption and build synergies between business units.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred).
