LuMATH is building the foundation for true artificial general intelligence (AGI) by developing Nova, a functioning reasoning engine that evolves logic in real time, moving beyond probability or brute-force training towards structural intelligence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Python experience
- Ability to read and work confidently with JSON structures
- Strong foundation in Python and JSON (required)
- Background in or curiosity for physics or mathematics (preferred but not required)
- Interest in AI reasoning, logic systems, or non-standard ML frameworks
Responsibilities
- Write and refine Python modules for Nova’s reasoning and logic functions
- Work with JSON-based data structures and internal configuration systems
- Build and test simulation environments for AGI behavior and coherence mapping
- Assist in developing memory, reasoning, and introspection subsystems
- Collaborate on AI safety and structural coherence tools
- Document and test system logic to ensure clarity and stability

- Legally authorized to work in the United States (required for all participants)
- 10–15 hours per week of focused work time (excluding midterms, finals, or breaks)
