Apple is looking to build an ML platform that enables teams to build Apple Intelligence and other intelligent experiences across hardware, software and service products
Requirements
- Solid full stack development skills on web, mobile or desktop app development
- Experience in machine learning tools and / or development
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, K8s etc)
- Golang experience
- Deep knowledge in frontend (TypeScript, React, Angular etc), backend & middleware (GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Kafka etc)
- Experience in machine learning is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Kafka etc
Responsibilities
- Building and shipping applications
- Working closely with a world-class ML infra and platform team to build tooling and enable faster integration of bringing ML ideas into Apple products
- Collaborating closely with design, backend infrastructure, ML engineering and project management teams to brainstorm, prototype and bring features into production
- Taking full ownership of both web frontend and backend
- Developing and maintaining rich web applications for data intensive systems
- Partnering across organization boundaries with product, design and infrastructure teams to deliver high impact projects
- Solving technical and architectural problems and communicating clearly and concisely about them
Other
- Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining rich web applications for data intensive systems
- Proven track record of delivering high impact projects
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about technical and architectural problems
- Good sense of design and passion for UX and developer experience
