Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for an Airplane Systems Design Engineering Manager to work at their North Charleston, SC location.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal leadership role
- 5+ years of working with aircraft systems
- 5+ years of supporting commercial aircraft production systems
Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
