Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for an intern to help solve tough challenges in the semiconductor industry by developing and producing microscopy capital equipment for precise high throughput critical dimensions measurements, enabling the development and manufacturing of the latest semiconductor devices.
Requirements
- Programming skills in a common language (Python, etc.)
- Familiarity working in Linux or Windows environments
- Basic knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, and calculus
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence is a plus
Responsibilities
- AI solutions for computer vision/image processing
- Computer vision algorithms
- Metrology algorithms for precise high throughput measurements of semiconductor devices
- Algorithm validation and testing
Other
- Final year student working on masters in computer engineering, computer science, data science, physics, or a similar field
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
- Demonstrate a passion for technology
- Presenting your work to a cross-functional audience
- This is a year long internship starting January 2025
