The intelligence community is facing a problem of understanding how to turn the available data into answers, and the role of an all-source analyst is to use knowledge and research skills to improve national security by seeking out accurate data sources, sifting through raw data, and turning it into valuable intelligence.
Requirements
- Experience with strategic all-source intelligence analysis
- Experience authoring DoD product lines or long-form intelligence products and using ICD 203 tradecraft standards
- Knowledge of the intelligence cycle
- Experience with cyber threat analysis
- Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders
- Experience using analytic tools to research data from multiple sources and analyze findings
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to help the client understand their mission environment
- Work with interagency teams to determine threats to DoD critical infrastructure, providing executive clients with threat briefings and mitigation opportunities
- Author DoD product lines or long-form intelligence products and use ICD 203 tradecraft standards
- Develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings
- Use analytic tools to research data from multiple sources and analyze findings
- Identify threats to U.S. interests and execute directed tasks supporting the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program, Defense Foreign Material Program, DoD Analytic Agenda, Defense Acquisition System, and Technology Security Program
- Conduct cyber threat analysis
Other
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with analysis, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with analysis
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Ability to work with interagency teams and provide executive clients with threat briefings and mitigation opportunities
- Ability to develop and deliver complex written products and formal or informal briefings
- Must be willing to participate in interviews and assessments on camera
