State Street Alpha is looking for an Alpha Product Automation AVP to perform business analysis and requirements for transformation and automation solutions, gather requirements from the client implementation team, and execute client implement rollout tasks to better serve clients and build relationships by offering client solutions and implementation services that give clients new functional capabilities that help drive efficiencies and new technical capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience in modern development practices, API designs and architecture diagrams
- Experience in SQL
- Experience working with Fixed-income, Equities, derivatives and OTC’s financial products.
- Experience in any Trading systems, Accounting Systems or Fund Accounting systems.
- Experience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperability
Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis and requirements for transformation and automation solutions
- Gather requirements from the client implementation team and execute the client implement rollout tasks.
- Work closely with IT teams to prioritize system integration tasks and readiness for the client implementation team.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting on loaders, data control checks and reconciliation data.
- Oversee and liaison between the business and the technology teams.
- Develop project plans, specifying goals, risks, contingency plans, etc.
- Collaborate with testing team and testing software solutions

- Critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and relationship management skills.
- 6+ years of financial industry experience across front office, middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services and data domains.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Finance or equivalent.
