Dematic is looking to solve the business problem of defining and owning product strategies for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and driving business growth through the development of features and functionality that meet solution/market needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or as an Engineer of Mobile Automation technology
- Strong strategic business background to drive the commercial performance of product lines
- Solid technical background and the ability to understand complex technical concepts
- Understands the integration of hardware, controls and software
- Experience in the material handling industry with a proficiency in understanding the supply chain industry as a whole (preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Leads commercial viability for the AMR line of products including fiscal performance, technical performance, lifecycle management, and strategic planning.
- Oversees fiscal performance for their line of products. Understands & reports against order intake, revenue, margin (as sold & as-executed), win/loss/drop analysis, etc.
- Develops & communicates a clear and compelling product vision & strategy. Defines product goals, objectives and key results to align with Dematic’s overall vision.
- Leverages market data, competitive insights, and industry analytics to ensure the commercial viability and long-term success of product lines.
- Partners with R&D, various Engineering disciplines, fellow Product Managers, Program Management and other functions to prioritize and support the process for new product development, after market mods and upgrades, and the sustaining of existing products.
- Through hands-on experience and training, have a current perspective on the mechatronic equipment as well as associated software layers of the AMR Product line.
- Partners with Engineering, Marketing and Communications to drive successful product launches, including marketing strategies, documentation, and training.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Mechatronic Engineering, Robotic Engineering, etc.)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- A strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-centric approach
- Multilingual is desired in addition to fluent English (Spanish, French, Italian, German, or Mandarin)
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external customers
