Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data transformation tools (e.g., Power Query, PySpark, T-SQL)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Databrick, or similar cloud data platforms
- Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) or Microsoft Fabric certification (e.g., DP-600 or successor)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric components: lakehouses, dataflows, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD for data products
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and semantic layer design
- Experience building Power BI semantic models and dashboards
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance stakeholders, enterprise data engineers, and AEV Hub data analysts to understand business needs and ensure data products deliver accurate, relevant, and actionable insights
- Ingest and integrate data from diverse sources using Microsoft Fabric tools to create unified and accessible datasets
- Transform and enrich data with reusable logic and workflows using Fabric dataflows Gen2, stored procedures, and notebooks
- Design and maintain lakehouses and data warehouses to support scalable analytics
- Build and manage enterprise-grade semantic models with reusable metrics and robust access controls
- Implement and enforce data governance, quality, and documentation standards
- Optimize performance and reliability of data pipelines and models
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical stakeholders
- Travel 0-10%
