As a Data Analyst at April Housing, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision making by consolidating and interpreting data, developing actionable insights, and enhancing reporting across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Query.
- Strong knowledge of PowerBI and other data visualization tools.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI Report Builder to generate PDF reports for Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data requirements.
- Conduct technical discovery to understand available data sources and apply best practices for transforming tables that are optimized for modeling and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data modeling, emphasizing the creation of efficient structures that maintain speed and flexibility for optimal data performance.
- Develop and prototype dimensional models in Power BI including an advanced understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Understand and analyze cardinality and relationships between different table structures, ensuring effective integration and interaction within data models.
- Create and design user-friendly interactive dashboards to allow stakeholders to quickly perform cross-sectional analysis for operational and portfolio key metrics.
- Ensure data models and dashboards are ready for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
