Cano Health is seeking an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems Analyst to improve organization performance by understanding the needs of clinical and operational departments and translating them into technical and software system specifications and solutions.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Must have the ability to learn multiple software applications quickly.
- Must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, organization skills and a spirit with a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to complete projects accurately and timely.
- Experience with EHR systems
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and operations
- Familiarity with report management and system configuration
- Experience with data mapping and migration
Responsibilities
- Gather, evaluate and document functional and non-functional requirements based on business goals.
- Produce workflow designs and facilitate meetings on new process adoption.
- Develop data mapping and execute migration from source EHR to Host EHR.
- Participate in the functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Provides application assistance and consultation within assigned product area of expertise.
- Oversee system updates, configuration changes, and installations of hardware and software, and diagnose technical problems to determine proper solutions.
- Collaborate with EHR vendor to identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring incidents.
Other
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- At least 2+ years of experience in the technical field or healthcare field.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Strong initiative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and abide by specific deadlines.
- Travel requirements: 0-25% flexibility to travel to clinical sites as needed.
