I2X Technologies is seeking an Analyst & Simulation Developer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO, requiring expertise in Missile Defense (MD) modeling and simulation and/or analysis.
Requirements
- Software development in a Linux and agile environment using MATLAB (strongly preferred), Python (strongly preferred) and/or Java, Bash, etc.
- Radar design and performance
- Strategic and tactical missile threat characterization/performance/modeling
- Simulation modeling of complex systems
- Requirement and test condition decomposition
- Applicant should have knowledge and hands-on experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Discrete event simulation modeling
- Data analysis using tools in Python, MATLAB
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute performance analyses on program and its interactions with current and planned-future MD Elements, document analysis results in reports and briefings, present analysis results to a variety of audiences, develop requirements for complex system models/simulations
- Execute, test and evaluate/trouble-shoot MD level, large scale models/simulations
- Develop, test, and evaluate threat scenarios
- Develop tools to support analysis and development effort in MATLAB, Python
- Provide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in large scale simulations
- Interact with members of other Product Teams, leadership, customers, and technical SMEs as well as leadership of other MD Element programs
