Vistra Retail Operations Company is looking for a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to support business decisions. The role involves identifying trends and patterns in data using various analytical techniques.
Requirements
- Experience in analyzing large volumes of data using Python, SQL, SAS, R or similar programming languages.
- Experience in working with data engineers to define business requirements.
- Experience using PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization.
- Exposure to prompt engineering a plus.
- Experience in A/B Testing and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of financial modeling and investment analysis (ROI, CLV)
- Skill in developing robust process flows.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and interpreting complex data sets from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
- Conducting advanced analysis of structured and unstructured datasets using statistical tools and software, such as R, SAS, or Python.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality.
- Collaborating with teams to identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business decisions.
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Identifying areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years (or Master's plus 2 year, or equivalent 6 years) of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, track, and communicate status of team initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
