Pacific Life is looking to develop and implement AI and analytics solutions that support product innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Generative AI / LLM expertise (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex, Google Gemini), including POC to production implementation.
- Fluency in Python, including UI development (Streamlit experience is a plus).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining.
- Experience applying GenAI techniques and analytics to key business processes.
- Prior experience developing knowledge extraction tools, conversational agents, virtual assistants, autonomous systems, or agentic frameworks.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce CRM Analytics.
- Ability to manage analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AI (generative and traditional) techniques to create innovative solutions and insights.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics models and algorithms to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work closely and amicably with enterprise and divisional technology teams to integrate AI and analytics solutions.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings effectively.

- 3+ years of experience in AI, analytics, or data science roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the Workforce Benefits or Insurance business, especially in Underwriting, Enrollment, Claims, Benefits Operations, and/or Sales.
