The Analytics Consultant III plays a pivotal role in enabling decision-making within the enterprise through insightful analytics. This individual will partner closely with business leaders to define analytic requirements, develop end-user solutions, and engage in ongoing collaborations for ad-hoc analysis and report/visualization development.
Requirements
- Proficient with visualization & data story telling using tools such PowerBI/Fabric (preferred), Tableau
- Proficiency in SQL with knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficient in advanced excel techniques and model development
- Applied experience transforming manual processes to industry standards
- Demonstrated understanding in conceptual and logical data design
- Demonstrated understanding of data management practices and data governance process; familiarity with data governance tools such as Azure Purview
- Demonstrated understanding of data mapping and lineage strategies
Responsibilities
- Develop end-user solutions
- Engage in ongoing collaborations for ad-hoc analysis and report/visualization development
- Leverage Data Products, new analytics tools, Information Architecture strategy, frameworks, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to partner with the First Command lines of business to rationalize data needs that are critical to our data transformation.
- Shape the Data Services capability based on the Enterprise Data and Analytics strategy and Data Governance outcomes.
- Build partnership for ad-hoc analysis and data product development
- Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools, Information Architecture strategies, frameworks, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with Data Management to identify data gaps or need of data quality

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytic needs
- Deliver tailored end-user solutions that influence enterprise decisions
- Compose insights and provide business data interpretation into a relatable presentation/story dependent on scope and audience
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop departmental KPIs and improve overall use of Data
- BABS required; MBA or MS or equivalent a plus
