Baylor Scott & White Health is looking to utilize analytics to drive excellent customer experience and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders through descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
Requirements
- Advanced data manipulation, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel and development skills in the use of enterprise statistical and BI tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI or QlickView.
- Advanced skill in the use of programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R or Python.
- Experience with Snowflake or Cloud Data Platform.
- Ability to gather and analyze data using descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics with experiences in forecasting, A/B testing and AI/ML.
- Strong data visualization skills, enabling intuitive UX to drive actionable insights.
- Knowledge of ETL & Data Warehousing.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document data requirements from customers. Analyze and translate requirements into technical specifications, process and workflows.
- Analyze business requirements and source systems to design and develop solutions using a variety of toolsets.
- Assess, produce and/or develop complex relevant, standard, or custom information (reports, dashboards, interactive reporting, charts, graphs and tables) from various data sources by querying data and generating the associated output.
- Partner with stakeholders to define, implement, and track performance metrics.
- Use advanced data science methods to develop experimentation test designs consistent with learning agendas and statistical requirements.
- Leverage data visualization techniques to present analytical insights to stakeholders.
- Gather intelligence on existing clinical or operational processes and expert input from relevant clinical stakeholders to elicit requirements to accomplish team goals.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Clinical or other similar degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Strong communication, people skills, team-orientation and a professional attitude.
- Ability to learn new processes and to find opportunities to gain efficiencies in current environment.
