Ramsey Solutions is looking to build and maintain datasets and reporting to power business decisions, and needs an Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and implement data pipelines and processes to transform raw data into high-quality data products.
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (for example: Python and R)
- Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Plotly, Streamlit)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
- Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with modern data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, AWS Redshift)
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining data warehouses and data marts, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Developing and implementing data quality checks and monitoring systems to identify and resolve data issues proactively.
- Developing a deep understanding of key datasets and data models within the data platform.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using modern data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
- Monitoring data pipelines for performance and ensure data integrity.
- Optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability to support the growing demands of the business.
- Developing and maintain source of truth reports and dashboards for key business metrics.
Other
- 2+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, or another similar role.
- Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
