The Memphis Grizzlies organization is looking to enhance its business insights and data-related activities across various lines of business, including Ticket Sales and Service, Marketing, and Partnership Marketing, by leveraging data analytics to inform strategic business decisions.
Requirements
- Any experience working with Salesforce, Azure, or related CRM applications and cloud-based data platforms.
- Any experience with SQL, database strategy, and Power BI (or other data visualization platforms).
- Any work, internship or project-based experience related to data analytics, data science, or artificial intelligence.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, basic data transformation and modeling, and experience coding in python.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Analytics and Data Engineers in building end-to-end data integration pipelines.
- Assist with the maintenance of dynamically refreshed reporting relied upon by various departments across the organization to track their business function.
- Support marketing stakeholders in the fields of email marketing, Audience Segmentation, digital analytics, app engagement, and other channel data considerations.
- Design, document, and professionally distribute reporting related to the business function and performance of the Memphis Grizzlies and respective brands.
- Take on a project of your own, finding a dataset or a system that sparks your interest and using it to build a report that can inform strategic business decisions.
Other
- Junior or Senior in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university
- Previous internship or project-related experience in partnerships, marketing, research, strategy, advertising, business intelligence, analytics, or related fields.
- Highly motivated to grow and learn business analytics.
- Strong communication skills with manager(s), analysts, and nontechnical stakeholders.
