Oura is looking to solve the business and technical problem of creating features for their Android app that enable women and individuals with uteri to gain deeper insights into their reproductive health and its connection to their overall well-being, innovating and defining the future of women's health within wearable technology.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience developing and shipping Android apps.
- Strong experience with Kotlin programming and modern Android architectures (MVVM, MVI, etc.), RxJava/Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose, and common third-party libraries.
- Experience with collaborative development on complex shared codebases.
- Proficiency with Git, branching, CI/CD, and standard code review workflows.
- Strong focus on quality through unit and manual testing.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and design patterns
- Experience with firmware and companion hardware devices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code for the Oura Android app.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to drive projects forward.
- Work cross-functionally with backend, firmware, data science, research, science, and QA teams.
- Partner with Android engineers across the US and EU to improve the Android codebase.
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and platform level improvements
