Mercury is looking for an Android Engineering Intern to contribute to a product that serves over 100,000 businesses, with mentorship from experienced engineers and the opportunity to work with Kotlin/Compose and potentially TypeScript.
Requirements
- existing experience with native Android apps (no React Native, sorry!)
- Have existing experience in Android using Jetpack Compose
Responsibilities
- writing Kotlin/Compose (maybe some TypeScript code)
- contributing to a product that serves over 100,000 businesses
- Join a small-but-mighty team of experienced iOS and Android engineers (and one backend dev!)
- Work closely with designers to ship a beautiful app
- Feel a strong sense of product ownership and actively seek responsibility
- Have a possible interest in other parts of our stack (Android: Kotlin/Compose; iOS: UIKit/SwiftUI/RxSwift; Frontend: TypeScript/React; Backend: Haskell)
- Have existing experience in Android using Jetpack Compose
