Motorola Solutions is looking to develop and test software for products at the core of their communications systems, which support the mission critical communications needs of organizations such as Police, Fire, EMS, DEA, Customs and Border Patrol, and many others.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Java, Android Studio and Android SDK
- Embedded software development using Object Oriented Design
- Knowledge of C / C++, and / or Python is a plus
- Knowledge of software development in the linux kernel is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum development methodology is a plus
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and development of state of the art microprocessor-based digital communication systems
- Requirements capture, design, implementation and test of software development phases
- Conduct software development phases using mature software development processes such as TDD & Agile methodologies
Other
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in one of the following degree programs : Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
