Two Six Technologies is seeking an Android Wireless Security Researcher to join their cybersecurity team to contribute to impactful security research projects by analyzing software binaries, firmware, and systems to identify vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in reverse engineering, cybersecurity, or software development (may include internships, coursework, or projects) with exposure to reverse engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with reverse engineering tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja) and scripting or basic programming for automation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with analyzing software binaries, firmware, and systems to understand functionality, identify potential vulnerabilities, and extract relevant information.
- Contribute to documenting findings, methodologies, and project updates while learning best practices from senior engineers.
- Engage in self-study, training, and mentorship to build reverse engineering, cybersecurity, and Agile skills.
- Work with senior engineers, developers, and analysts to troubleshoot challenges, propose solutions, and implement improvements.

- This is a hybrid position requiring on-site support one day per week at our Northern Virginia customer site.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, and support project planning and execution.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Active Top Secret clearance with willingness and ability to obtain a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
