Requirements

  • Proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), CSS (Flexbox/CSS Grid), and HTML5
  • 5+ years of Angular development experience with deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
  • Thorough understanding of asynchronous mechanisms used in modern web development, including Promises and Observables
  • Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
  • Familiarity with third party grid and charting tools (e.g., ag-grid, Highcharts)
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of typical platform components, such as databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and REST APIs
  • Experience in architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners (e.g., webpack, browserify, gulp)

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the firm's corporate technology applications by developing robust systems for daily accruals and payout calculations.
  • Deliver new unified user interfaces to enhance data processing capabilities, aiding in the management of PM payroll and employee-related data.
  • Drive UI components requirements through close collaboration with business users, business analysts, and the existing team.
  • Design UI components to streamline employee and deal-related data entry, improve audit trails for management updates, and reduce manual activities outside of finance systems and payroll.
  • Contribute to the central UI components library to promote UI unification across Point72 systems.
