Meta Reality Labs is looking for an Antenna Systems Engineer to join our Wireless Antenna team focused on AR/MR products. This role is responsible for developing antenna systems through automation frameworks, tool development, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Coding skills for data analysis and test equipment automation (e.g., Python, Java, C++, MATLAB)
  • Proficiency in EM simulation software such as CST and HFSS
  • Experience working with cellular chipsets for mobile or other consumer electric devices applications
  • Experience with RF lab equipment for antenna and wireless characterization, and worked with the firmware team to support automated wireless testing
  • Experience in antenna/wireless system architecture
  • Experience with Cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi/BT, and other wireless technologies

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new tools and solutions to automate the antenna system development process, including simulation, validation, and comprehensive data analysis of testing workflows
  • Design and develop scripts in Python and other programming languages to streamline and improve RF testing processes for Meta products using industry-standard test equipment
  • Partner with other designers and cross-functional engineering teams to plan, build, and deploy scalable automation frameworks tailored to specific project requirements
  • Leverage machine learning to drive innovation and efficiency throughout the wireless product development lifecycle
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external JDM/CM to successfully bring wireless products to market

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects in a productive environment
  • Support domestic/international travel to achieve program milestones
  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field
