Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, Python, Go, or C
- Experience with RDBMS
- Experience with modern software development practices
- Knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and production monitoring tools like DataDog
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
- Work with a variety of languages/frameworks, such as Java, Go, Python, and technologies such as RDBMS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Learn from and apply design techniques and coding standards coached by Senior Engineers
- Build resilient, self-scaling, self-healing services that ensure stability and reliability
- Support the production systems that you build, incorporating CI/CD processes and production monitoring tools like DataDog
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews
- Participate in training to develop technical and financial domain knowledge
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum requirement of a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to start early July 2026 alongside other cohort members
- Ability to work in an office environment 4 days a week during the 1-year program at Apex’s Austin, Texas location
