Nike is looking to solve the problem of on-time delivery and development of products according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of the development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, and machinery
- Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions
- Ability to use Adobe Illustrator
- Exposure to Apparel CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO3D) highly desired
Responsibilities
- assist in the creation and revision of the Tech Pack for assigned styles
- ensure all appropriate development documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes
- assist in the execution fit and construction standards for a category or product group to ensure consistency
- track and facilitate prototyping for styles
- identifying and addressing key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing and planning accordingly to deliver proven and tested product
- schedule fit models and attend fit sessions to take notes as needed
- receive, track, and manage samples, as well as organize and maintain the sample closet to ensure efficiency
Other
- Registered in a program or college for Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field with a graduation date between December 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027
- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are key
- Ability to present a portfolio showcasing relevant work
