TACG is looking to migrate legacy mainframe applications into an AWS cloud environment, integrate with modern systems, and design/configure Appian applications to streamline business processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Appian development experience, including Appian BPM application design and configuration.
- Experience with mainframe systems and modernization efforts to cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud migration frameworks, data transfer, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and RESTful APIs for integration with Appian and AWS services.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, etc.) in cloud-based deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Appian applications to support business workflows in an AWS cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy applications into AWS-native solutions.
- Support data migration and integration processes between RDS/modern databases and legacy systems.
- Configure and optimize Appian in AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between Appian, AWS services, and third-party applications.
- Participate in solution architecture, system design, and technical roadmaps for cloud modernization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Appian configurations, AWS deployments, and migration pipelines.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and project stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment.
- Appian Level 2 or Level 3 Certification.
- Prior experience with large-scale legacy modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Okta or other OIDC authentication boundaries for secure authentication in cloud applications.
