Allied World is looking for an experienced Appian Software Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications and solutions that support their insurance business, aiming to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and drive technical excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in Appian development, with experience in BPM applications and leading teams for senior roles
- Proficiency in Appian Designer, SAIL, Process Modeler, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP webservices with experience integrating Appian with other various platforms
- Solid understanding of Appian architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Expertise with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications that support business objectives.
- Architect scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for web and software applications.
- Write, review, and optimize clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve critical application issues in a timely manner.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve team productivity and system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other business systems.
- Ensure adherence to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
