Apple is looking for a legal professional to provide legal support for all its products across the globe, specifically within the Product Law Group. This role will involve advising on a wide range of issues related to product support, service strategies, regulatory inquiries, and consumer-facing communications, ensuring Apple upholds its high ethical and corporate standards while continuing to build cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with product counseling, consumer law, and product regulatory issues
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- Experience advising on use of generative artificial intelligence
- Ability to distill complex legal concepts into practical guidance for non-lawyers
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage product warranties, service-related agreements, and advise on service policies.
- Coordinate, strategize and draft responses to regulatory agency inquiries and investigations.
- Review and provide guidance to Apple’s social media and marketing teams on consumer-facing communications.
- Advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.
- Provide legal support for Apple’s service organization in providing technical support and product service to customers.
- Collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional business and engineering teams to strategize on global product support and service strategies.
Other
- 2+ years of experience with general transactional, regulatory, or litigation matters
- JD degree or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
- Ability to handle your own high-volume workload on day-to-day matters
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple range of matters supporting multiple cross-functional teams
- Ability to advise executive management, and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, counseling, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners
