The Nuclear Technology Solutions Department at Southern Company is looking to improve productivity and efficiencies and reduce cost by implementing new applications, upgrading existing applications, and supporting interfaces between applications to support the fleet of three nuclear plants and the corporate office.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Windows 11/10, MS-Office, and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
- Experience supporting, implementing, integrating, and supporting vendor application solutions
- Experience supporting both Web and Windows client solutions
- Database experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL
- Experience with applications in a Citrix environment
- Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI

Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or currently have Bachelors in a non-technical degree with 6+ years of experience in Information Technology/Computer Science
- Must be a US Citizen and comply with 10 CFR Part 810
- Communicates effectively (verbal & written) with all levels of clients, peers, and management
- Strong customer service orientation
- Some travel may be required
