Sargent & Lundy is looking to define, manage, and evolve its enterprise application and integration architecture to ensure alignment with business goals, scalability, security, and interoperability across a diverse portfolio of business and custom applications and integration platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech stack: REACT, .NET, C programming language, SQL Server, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Integration tools and patterns (APIs, ETL, middleware)
  • Enterprise platforms like Costpoint, Cornerstone, SharePoint
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle).
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and Test-driven Development.
  • Knowledge of data governance and master data management.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the enterprise application and integration architecture strategy.
  • Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development and integration.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of 100+ applications spanning enterprise, point solutions, and integration platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Application Inventory Catalog, incorporating input from stakeholders, subject matter experts, enterprise standards, and software assets.
  • Design and manage integration patterns using APIs, Power Automate Flows, and other middleware.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data flows between systems like Costpoint, Power Platform, and custom apps.
  • Lead the consolidation and modernization of integration services.

Other

  • This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in our Chicago office, and 2 days remote from home.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in application architecture, integration design, or enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
