Sargent & Lundy is looking to define, manage, and evolve its enterprise application and integration architecture to ensure alignment with business goals, scalability, security, and interoperability across a diverse portfolio of business and custom applications and integration platforms.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech stack: REACT, .NET, C programming language, SQL Server, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Integration tools and patterns (APIs, ETL, middleware)
- Enterprise platforms like Costpoint, Cornerstone, SharePoint
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle).
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and Test-driven Development.
- Knowledge of data governance and master data management.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise application and integration architecture strategy.
- Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development and integration.
- Manage the full lifecycle of 100+ applications spanning enterprise, point solutions, and integration platforms.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Application Inventory Catalog, incorporating input from stakeholders, subject matter experts, enterprise standards, and software assets.
- Design and manage integration patterns using APIs, Power Automate Flows, and other middleware.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data flows between systems like Costpoint, Power Platform, and custom apps.
- Lead the consolidation and modernization of integration services.

- This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in our Chicago office, and 2 days remote from home.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in application architecture, integration design, or enterprise architecture.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
