GDIT is seeking an Application Engineer 3 to join their team and contribute to creating Cybersecurity solutions for a DoD client's enterprise Zero Trust Program, focusing on defining, implementing, and integrating Zero Trust Architecture.
Requirements
- Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, and securing Zero Trust capabilities and the software that provides them, such as identity providers, multifactor authentication, privileged access management, unified entity management, inventory control systems, endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, software defined compute/networking/storage, etc.
- Experience integrating Zero Trust related technologies with applications, external services, and other security tools.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and securing Zero Trust cyber security technologies.
- Experience with one or more automation systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc)
- Experience with applications running on Windows, Linux, and in containerized environments.
- Experience with on-prem and cloud deployment.
- Experience with one or more containerization platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, OpenShift,etc)
Responsibilities
- Defining the architecture, implementing, and integrating COTs products used to establish a Zero Trust Architecture.
- Designing the interconnectivity of COTS products, including components, interfaces, and integrations with other systems.
- Migrating legacy applications to a Zero Trust network architecture
- Choosing the correct technologies, platforms, and tools to meet the needs of a Zero Trust architecture as defined in the DoD ZT Execution Roadmap.
- Providing guidance and support to the Zero Trust implementation team.
- Ensuring applications meet security and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and resolving software issues.
