MSIM is expected to grow profitably by scaling Alternative Businesses. To facilitate scalable growth of the business and expected efficiencies, the Private Alternative Technology Team is making strategic investments through Project Horizon, which is a key MSIM program. This role will be assigned to Private Alternatives Operations and IM Finance technology initiatives to provide technology coverage to Operations, Hedging BU/Capital Markets, Fund Admin Streamlining, Finance, and Firm Risk to implement the target operating model aligned with Project Horizon.

Requirements

  • Strong programming background in Java, Scala, and Python
  • Experience with cloud services such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Cloud, and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in working with APIs and API management tools and technologies
  • Practical experience with modern UI frameworks and DevOps/CI/CD tools
  • Expertise in programming frameworks such as Spring Boot and Apache Spark
  • Advanced SQL Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
  • 5-8 years of experience in application architecture and full stack development within the financial industry.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
