Munich Re America Services is looking for a candidate to analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet emerging business demands, focusing on finance transformation and upgrading existing programs.
Requirements
- C-Sharp / .Net Framework
- MS Excel/Access, VBA, Macros
- Database: SQL server (Stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS)
- Azure (Cloud Computing Platform)
- Azure DevOps
- BI Platforms (MS Power BI, SAP BO/BI, or Tableau)
- Biztalk server, pipelines, maps, schemas
Responsibilities
- Conducts analysis work to understand business requirements and design solutions to meet emerging business demands
- Testing and evaluating new programs, reporting tools or finance specific applications to meet finance transformation demands
- Identifying modifications in existing programs and subsequently developing, upgrading or replacing these programs
- Implement change requests (minor and major) related to the existing Finance Products
- Contributes to and updates technical documents (e.g., product documentation, technical descriptions, architectural documents, service descriptions, operation manuals, authorization concepts).
- Analyses of current technical architecture and alignment of new development with MR coding and architectural standards
- Implement automated build, deployment, and rollback pipelines using Azure DevOps. Automate deployment of BizTalk applications, SSIS/SSRS packages, and web services.

- In-depth experience and understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience with information security concepts including identity access management, data classification schemas, security awareness and application or server vulnerability monitoring.
- Alignment with Project Management on tactical level and task tracking on operational level using Azure DevOps
- Excellent business acumen with ability to easily grasp business topics and to view and present IT information with a business perspective in laymen’s terms.
- Ability to handle multiple development initiatives with pending deadlines and concurrent demands.
