Leidos seeks an Application Developer to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Outcome-based Delivery and DevSecOps Services (ODOS) IV program, focusing on solution development, technical demonstrations, and modernization of critical USCIS systems using DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working on DevSecOps projects.
- Experience in application programming on large-scale information systems.
- Strong skills in software design, development, and support of complex systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and modern DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or other enterprise programming languages.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Translate detailed design requirements into high-quality software solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, and refine applications to meet business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with user requirements.
- Provide technical documentation, including program-level and user-level deliverables.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability.

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent additional years of experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience with DHS/USCIS IT environments.
