ANSER is seeking an Application Developer to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience (ODASD(IM&R)) in establishing the policy and providing the oversight for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) real property assets and related services
Requirements
- Strong programming knowledge in SQL and JAVA
- Ability to maintain and develop APIs (application programming interface) for delivery of data into a data warehouse
- Exposure to DROOLS, Git, SOAPUI or related tools to support application development, business rule development and source code management
- DevOps Tools to support an AGILE methodology. Microsoft DEVOPS is preferred but will also consider JIRA and other tools supporting AGILE
- Experience with Python
- Java runtime environment and tools
- Agile Development methodology
Responsibilities
- Application Re-Engineering Analysis and Agile Development using a Java runtime environment and tools
- Testing methodologies that support an Agile Development methodology
- Auditing, Compliance reporting, Code Documentation, and secure code practices
- Operations support to include debugging production issues
- Help Desk and Customer Support as needed
- Support application development for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience (ODASD(IM&R))
- Analyze the Data Analytics and Integration Support (DAIS) platform for any application or architectural issues to ensure performance is maximized, industry standards are followed and Government enterprise architecture standards are being met
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience with overall application development
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to work independently with application code, backend processing, and user interface development for a broad range of stakeholders, including DoD senior leadership
- Ability to resolve emerging issues with the system as needed
