Corebridge Financial is looking for an Application Developer to design, develop, and support various applications and tools used by the Investments and Capital Market business team, with the goal of delivering technology improvements and ensuring solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience developing .NET based solutions using C-Sharp, ASP.NET and technologies like WPF, WCF, multi-threading, web services
- Experience with and strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies
- Experience in the DevOps tool chain would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL queries on Oracle 11g database
- Understanding of Oracle database and experience working with sql, stored procedures, functions
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with C-Sharp and .NET
- Experience developing large scale systems
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, propose, design and implement technical solutions
- Participate in development of Investments Data Warehouse and user interface
- Work effectively with the infrastructure architects and DBA teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed
- Provide production support from development teams for existing systems, troubleshoot data and/or system issues
- Hands-on working experience with GitHub and knowledge of CI/CD is desired
- Oversight of high- and low-level solution design, liaising with multiple teams to troubleshoot production incidents
- Identifying opportunities to deliver technology improvements in systems and initiate work to do so where cost-benefit is justified

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of application development, preferably in financial services
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
- Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code
