Centuria is seeking an N8 Application Developer to support the U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) Headquarters (HQ) at USFF Norfolk, Virginia. This role will contribute to Navy Fleet Readiness and Homeland Security by providing IT support, including application development, maintenance, updating, and enhancement of developed applications/software.
Requirements
- Six years of web application development and SharePoint custom solutions using C, SPFx, Java Script, Angular, React, HTML, T-SQL, .NET, JSON, Visio, Designer, PowerShell and related technologies.
- Six years of experience in the installation, configuration and management of Microsoft Servers, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft and Visual Studio.
- Proficient and in depth experience in data modeling, user interface and/or experience (UI/UX) design and implementation.
- Proficiency and in-depth experience in the installation, configuration, and management of virtualization technology such Hyper-V and VMware.
- Proficient and in depth experience using Microsoft Office and VBA.
- Proficiency and in-depth experience in using AGILE concepts and best practices.
- Experience in implementing STIG and IA policies.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will design, develop, manage, and maintain the FD Tool/Baseline Configuration Change Plan (BCCP) Application using ASP.NET, T-SQL, C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web related technologies.
- Build prototype models using but not limited to Data Modeling Tools, mockup sites, and Flow Charts.
- Implement information assurance security controls such as IAVA, STIG, support Zero Trust requirements, and 508 accessibility compliance.
- Maintain and manage the application database store.
- Integrate automation services (AI/Azure, etc.) into solutions to provide the command improved decision making capabilities.
- Write application(s) user guides and provide technical support/assist to end users of the application.
- Perform application development and testing using on-site GFE devices/environment.

- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Associate Degree in Computer Science with additional 2 years of experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). Candidates who do not currently possess a Microsoft certification, but meet all other minimum requirements, may be considered for this position. If selected, the candidate will be required to obtain the required certification within 30 days.
