Steves & Sons is looking to develop software that drives the manufacturing process, builds systems for reporting status to management, and supports the devices, machinery, and systems that lead to quality product delivery. The Application Developer will construct resources to improve operational efficiency and bring new capabilities to their manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- C-Sharp is the language of choice for this position.
- Knowledge of the following required: agile practices, general coding concepts, and data handling technique.
- Background in SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, or other Business Intelligence software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of existing data structures and systems.
- Execute the required code changes and test the expected results.
- Harness the process of deploying code changes.
- Interface with machinery for control of operations or the collection of data.
- Interface with third-party libraries to incorporate new functionality.
- writing software for the desktop, web, or mobile
- building systems that report status to the management teams
Other
- Express compliance with documentation standards.
- Seek to continually improve one’s knowledge of Steves systems and coding practices in general.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience preferred.
