The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus's School of Medicine IT Shared Services needs a full-stack web application and database developer to maintain and enhance custom applications like PRISM and FIMS, which support critical functions, and to work on new custom development initiatives.
Requirements
- One or more (1+) years of JavaScript, HTML/CSS experience.
- One or more (1+) years of C-Sharp, ASP.NET experience.
- Experience with MVC architectural patterns.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, React, or Angular.
- Ability to work with enterprise database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new web applications, databases, and APIs.
- Maintain and enhance existing C-Sharp applications, websites, databases, and user interfaces.
- Design, code, and test change requests and bug fixes.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Implement secure coding practices and follow data protection standards.
- Create and maintain database and API integration processes; troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain code base and version control using Visual Studio and GitHub.
Other
- Work with teams to coordinate support for ongoing production applications and new initiatives.
- Provide end-user support for the suite of applications.
- Participate in collaborative reviews of applications and data architecture.
- Meet with clients to define and document application design and technical architecture.
- Work with data owners to develop customized reports, exports, and dashboards.
