Amyx is seeking a Software Developer to support DLA Energy's mission operations by assisting a dynamic technical team in the design, development, and sustainment of applications and subsystems.
Requirements
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including sustainment and modernization activities.
- Knowledge of application design, programming, testing, and documentation standards.
- Experience with Microsoft.Net, SQL, C-Sharp, java, and other programming languages.
- Experience with secure development practices (e.g. STIG, OWASP) and DevSecOps.
- Agile/Scrum background.
- 5+ years of programming experience.

Responsibilities
- Formulate and define specifications, design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
- Participate in the design of reusable software tools and subsystems to enhance efficiency and domain analysis.
- Translate technical requirements into detailed program specifications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and technical guides for users and support staff.
- Modify and document program code to correct errors or expand application capabilities.
- Conduct application testing and prepare reports on system performance and maintenance.
