Heartflow is looking to solve the problem of transforming cardiovascular care through advanced imaging and data analytics by analyzing large datasets related to cardiovascular imaging and providing actionable insights to support product development and clinical decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, including DICOM, HL7, and FHIR.
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with predictive models and algorithms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets related to cardiovascular imaging and patient health records to identify patterns and trends.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support clinical and product teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, clinical, and product management to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and cleaning processes.
  • Assist in the development of predictive models and algorithms to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in healthcare data analytics and incorporate best practices into workflows.
  • Support regulatory and compliance activities by maintaining accurate data documentation and reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
