ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced Application Developer II to support the NCMO Contract in Suffolk, VA. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test software solutions tailored to evolving mission and business needs, ensuring that critical defense systems remain efficient, secure, and mission ready.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C-Sharp, or similar).
- Understanding of DISA circuit management processes and related systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or DISA environments.
- Knowledge of circuit provisioning and management systems.
- Experience with web-based and database-driven application development.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements to design and develop custom software solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications in support of internal and external clients.
- Work within Agile or Waterfall development lifecycles; may serve as a SCRUM Master.
- Streamline information systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Identify and evaluate moderately complex software and service solutions.
- Coordinate resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Engage with DISA circuit management databases and related systems to meet operational requirements.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Collaborate with internal management and external stakeholders to assess and improve processes.
- Support technical briefings, demonstrations, and presentations for leadership and customers.
- 2–4 years of relevant software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
