American Equity is looking for an Application Developer II – Salesforce Platform Developer to partner with team members and stakeholders to drive delivery of innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform and associated technologies.

Responsibilities
- Prepares, codes, debugs, and tests programs.
- Evaluates, creates and modifies existing programs while gaining an understanding of system interfaces.
- Documents code changes and assists users in the development of procedures.
- Analyzes system solutions.
- Performs on-call responsibilities.
- Coding, testing and debugging programs
- Maintaining and documenting program code and procedures
Other
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two (2) or more years of related experience in a coding, testing and debugging environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year in an application development role required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (recommended)
- Position sits in West Des Moines and will work an onsite hybrid schedule
