Old National Bank is seeking an API Lead Applications Developer to build integrations that have a meaningful impact and transform the bank
Requirements
- 7+ years directly related, progressively responsible work experience with emphasis on APIs
- MuleSoft experience and current MuleSoft certifications strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful solutions with a client-first mindset
- Experience leading development teams that have dependencies on internal and partner/vendor development teams
- Strong project management skills
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with API development, integration, and security
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business leaders and internal partners to define API vision, strategy and architecture
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and industry trends
- Lead the product development process by creating detailed product specifications, collaborating with internal partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality API solutions
- Overseeing support activities in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure the APIs perform well in production
- Measure benefits realization to ensure that business outcomes are achieved
- Maintain ownership of the API roadmap, including near term prioritization of features and longer-term capabilities to meet future business needs
- Work with the information security team to ensure that the organization's applications are effectively secured and that risks are mitigated
