Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice needs to modernize client infrastructure with automation and machine learning, updating underlying databases, modernizing routing systems, automating dissemination, migrating from Word to HTML, creating new visualization request & production tools, and developing updated review applications to enhance customer experiences and drive sustained growth.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience using web development technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit testing
- Experience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with Git
- Agile development experience on a scrum team, using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs that meet performance and security requirements
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
Responsibilities
- Updating the underlying database to virtual server without disrupting service to 100k annual users
- Modernizing the routing system by improving workflow for production tracking & analytic review
- Automating dissemination
- Migrating from Word to HTML
- Creating new visualization request & production tools (replacing SharePoint site)
- Developing updated review applications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required
- Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Maryland
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
