Citi, a global bank, needs to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities within the Common Platforms domain of Operations Technology group to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs, reimagine client and partner experiences, and deliver excellence through secure, reliable, and efficient services.
Requirements
- Define, prioritize, and drive the comprehensive technical roadmap for enterprise-wide digital transformation, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and strategic growth initiatives.
- Lead the planning and implementation of critical technology initiatives, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and success metrics for each phase of the transformation journey.
- Ensure all technical transformation initiatives and new systems are designed and implemented with robust security controls and strict adherence to industry regulations, particularly Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and data privacy requirements.
- Leverage technology to automate and streamline compliance processes, particularly in areas like identity verification, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring for KYC.
- Establish and manage robust governance frameworks to ensure roadmap adherence, risk mitigation, and continuous delivery of value.
- Champion agile transformation across the organization, promoting iterative development, rapid prototyping, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Establish architectural standards, best practices, and patterns for full-stack development, promoting reusability and consistency across teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process
- Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
- Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
- Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with end-users of the systems, and enhance the quality of deliverables
- Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements
- Manage and maintain all disaster recovery plans, oversee appropriate testing, and provide permit-to-operate for new applications
- Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams
Other
- 15+ years of relevant experience within an application development environment
- 8-10+ years of managerial experience leading application development teams, including budget and performance management
- PMP Certification, MBA, Specific to business Licenses and other
- Experience with financial products
- Working knowledge of the industry and competitors’ products and services
